From Mountains to Rivers, Among the Whispers of Energies and Roots
With deep emotion, I begin to write these first lines of my first article for this wonderful magazine that I love and read, a space that I already feel as the home of my soul.
With deep emotion, I begin to write these first lines of my first article for this wonderful magazine that I love and read, a space that I already feel as the home of my soul. My name is Dejana, and I am excited yet intimidated, because speaking about energies and my world means touching something deeply personal yet universal. Since childhood, I have always been aware that there exists a world beyond what we see. This vivid sensitivity, so clear and developed, does not arise from nothing; it has clear, deep, and ancient roots, just like those of my land, Macedonia, and the wise hands and words of my grandmother. Macedonia, with its ancient mountains, rivers that tell millennia-old stories, and villages where time seems to flow differently, has taught me that the Earth itself is alive and pulsating with energy. Walking on its paths, immersing my hands in the fertile soil of my grandmother's fields were my first true lessons in connection. Even today, those places ground me, recharge me, and rebalance me, bringing me back to my center. My grandmother, whom I had the honor of having as my first teacher in this life, the guardian of a lineage of healers of which I am honored and proud to be a part, with her simple rituals, whispered prayers, and remedies based on herbs gathered according to the moon, has transmitted to me a profound respect for everything that surrounds us, whether visible or invisible. Thanks to her and my heritage, I understood from the very beginning that energies must be respected, honored, not dominated or exploited.
Precisely because I come from a lineage of healers, I have learned that on this spiritual path, one never feels arrived. Continuous study, constant research, and the humility to never stop learning are essential. Books, stories, ancient traditions, experiences, and exchanges with other people all serve a purpose. Stopping means betraying our mission, our gift.
Helping those in need is not an occasional pleasure, but a sacred duty that carries great responsibility. Every person who turns to us for energetic support, guidance, healing, or cleansing calls us to be clean and prepared instruments. For this reason, study, experimentation, evolution, but above all purification, is fundamental. This journey is infinite, and that is what makes it beautiful. Every time I discover or learn something new, I remain amazed like a child in front of balloons.
Respecting energies is a concrete practice that changes the quality of our lives. Respect for our personal energy is sacred; our body is a temple, and our energy field is sacred. Learning to say No, to rest, to nourish ourselves with awareness is not selfishness; it is energetic hygiene. We must come first. We must also respect the energies of others; each person has their own field. True empathy maintains bright boundaries and helps the other to rediscover themselves and regain their strength; we cannot work in their place. Then there are the energies of the earth and environments; we often forget that every place has its memory. My land has taught me that energetically cleansing a space and honoring nature is an act of responsibility towards the Great Mother. Furthermore, there are the subtle energies that we perceive and work with, such as prayers, rituals, crystals, or the cards themselves, which are powerful tools that require, above all, respect, preparation, and humility.
We live in a time of great energetic activation. My code, the teachings of my ancestors, and the awareness of the duty I carry as a daughter remind me every day that we must navigate these beautiful yet challenging currents with awareness, discipline, but above all with an open heart, trusting our intuition, learning to listen to our soul; otherwise, we risk feeling overwhelmed instead of elevated. Respect for energies brings us back to a state of daily sacredness, transforming routine into ritual, relationships into conscious exchanges, and the body into a temple.
My wish is that this journey finds us ever more present and humble. That we learn to move in the world as grateful and attentive guardians, that every morning we thank the energies that support us, the Mother Earth that grounds us, the ancestors who guide us, committing ourselves to serve with dedication and respect.
Safe travels
