Schaffenburg Association Meeting 2020
The annual meeting of Schaffenburg e.V. was held on October 10, 2020, at Gesta e.V. due to COVID-19 restrictions, featuring board elections and a report on activities.
On October 10, 2020, the annual meeting of Schaffenburg e.V. took place. Due to the ongoing restrictions related to the coronavirus pandemic, the meeting could not be held in our usual premises, which were deemed too small for the gathering. Additionally, the possibility of inclement weather ruled out the option of hosting the event outdoors. Thankfully, the Gesta e.V. association graciously provided their facilities located just a short walk from our space.
The unique circumstances were evident from the outset, as attendees were required to fill out a "health status declaration" before entering the meeting.
The activity report presented by the board included details about our face shield production for the city of Aschaffenburg. The report also highlighted how the pandemic significantly shifted our activities online, alongside the development of a hygiene concept that allowed for a phased reopening of our facilities. This included the requirement for visitors to register their attendance to facilitate contact tracing if necessary.
During the board elections, Oliver Kömm was elected as the first chairman, Hendrik Dietrich as the second chairman, Patrick Weis as the treasurer, and I was re-elected as the secretary. I am grateful for the trust placed in me for another term!
