This is a brief study of Vladimir Putin's natal chart based on his birth date, the planets in signs and aspects, despite the controversy surrounding the exact time of his birth. The aspects and transits speak for themselves. Indeed, we can still analyze the planets in signs and aspects; however, the Solar Revolution becomes more complicated if the birth time is not accurate, so I prefer not to delve into that.

Regarding his natal chart, I will refer to Vladimir Putin as VP. He is a Libra with a planetary cluster in Libra and a predominance of cardinal (5) and fixed (3) signs.

Cardinal: I charge ahead, I advance, I decide.

Fixed: Tenacious, stubborn, obstinate; I remain focused on my goals, especially marked by a challenging aspect with Uranus.

Looking at the transits today in March 2022, Jupiter has recently entered Pisces on 12/30/2021 and is favorably activating his natal Uranus in Cancer in the eighth house, leading to squares (challenging aspects) to his Sun, Saturn, Neptune, and natal Mercury in Scorpio, which complicates his natal chart. This reinforces the cardinal sector and heightens the desire to confront the international stage; friends become enemies, as the natal planets are placed in the eleventh house, representing friendships. He is battling against numerous countries, or at least the entire international sphere is rebelling against VP.

Currently, we are experiencing a transit of Uranus square Mercury (challenging aspect) affecting everyone. On February 24, the date of the invasion, Mercury was square to Uranus by just 1 degree, which clearly indicates an inability to communicate, with Uranus being the trigger for VP's square to all his natal planets in Libra, driving a desire to confront Ukraine, moving towards combat and war, the only way he knows to communicate. Let us not forget that Uranus represents revolution in one form or another, while Mercury signifies communication in general.

In our chart, for everyone, this Uranus/Mercury square we are experiencing right now increases misunderstanding or a certain difficulty in understanding or expressing oneself. Communication is blocked, whether at work or in personal life; with this transit, it feels like we are stuck in place, stress is present, and sometimes anger manifests in our actions and thoughts, making daily life challenging.

Returning to VP, currently, Uranus positioned in Taurus in the seventh house confirms that relations with other countries are deteriorating broadly. Saturn, as of March 2022, is still in Aquarius at 18 degrees, square to VP's natal Jupiter at 19 degrees and simultaneously opposing his natal Pluto in Leo, square to Venus in Scorpio. All transit aspects are in fixed signs, which clearly means that VP is determined, come what may, to see his actions through to the end, without discussion or second thoughts; contact is severed. He charges ahead like a cardinal/fixed sign towards the goal he has set.

We will have to wait until March 11 for Mercury to gain momentum and settle into Pisces, which may bring a desire to discuss or take a step back from the situation, but until then, it is complicated. Furthermore, if there is no means of calming down or reaching an agreement, Mars will also enter Aquarius on March 7, and we may once again face communication difficulties around March 21/22 (Mars will be square to Uranus in Taurus). We will then be in Aries, which could lead to another impasse in the days and months to come.

It is at the moment when the Sun enters Gemini that the sky will clear, and we may experience a respite or even improvement; the challenging aspects will be less virulent. Before that, we will face difficult moments in March, April, and May, and then starting from May 22, things may improve slightly. Around June 14, Mercury in Gemini will positively reactivate all of VP's planets in Libra, and we should find agreements and perhaps, I hope, see the future from a better perspective.
